Save the date!
May 17 marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Discrimination Against 2SLGBTQ+ People. This date was chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s 1990 decision to remove homosexuality from its list of mental disorders — a major victory for our communities.
To mark the occasion, we invite you to take a stand against rising hatred toward sexually and gender-diverse people by participating in a full-day symposium, with training sessions and a panel aimed at promoting inclusive and equitable practices.
When: Friday, May 16, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Hôtel Delta
Cost: $25 (lunch included)
Highlights of the day include:
- Three inspiring and informative keynote presentations by Henri June Pilote, Guilaume Boivin and Tommly Planchat
- A panel of regional stakeholders sharing real-world experiences
- Safe and inclusive spaces for open discussion
We invite you to join us for this day of training and dialogue to deepen your understanding and exchange ideas on the challenges faced in your professional settings.
See you soon,
The Diversité 02 Team
